Well our 1st class project was kind of different it was sunrise to sunset with no
electric power what so ever which also included cell phones and anything that ran on
batteries and no use of the car. it sounds pretty easy but guess again you get so
used to all these things that when you don't have them it can be pretty tough. when
I told my other half Deborah she thought it would be fun so our night with no power
started with a bar-b-q with charcoal not propane (thought you had me huh) which was
great then we sat outside in lounge chairs just talking it was nice to just sit and
no be bothered by the outside world after a few hours of talking a star gazing we
went inside to just candle lite where we sat and talked some more until we got
ready to call it a night. looking back on this project I would have to say I really
enjoyed it and I would recommend that everyone take a day of no power and just live
the way people did in the past it is a great way no reconnect with yourself and
your loved ones. so thank you Glenn for such a cool project.
