3 million years of art in 150 minutes

First off let me say I loved Tuesday's lecture not only for the cool art we got to see but also for what I found to be great thought provoking questions . I got the biggest kick and most out of these two questions the first one being is it just a pebble or is it art? For me the question was easy when it came to the little pebble that looked as if it had a face I believe there is no question that it is art just because it was not man made I still think of it as art I found it to be totally cool and worth viewing I guess someone from 3 million years ago thought so to since it was found miles and miles from where it was made. But then again some  people in the class believe it not to be art since it was not man made and was from from years and years of water flowing though the pebble making it just a cool looking rock. What I found funny about this question was both answers where right totally different both still both right, makes you think huh? And I believe that what art should do make you both feel and think. My second question I loved was can something become so big it no longer exists? To tell you the truth that question has stuck with me all week and I still have no answers the examples Glen used were two great ones the Mona Lisa and the Beatles both huge in their in they own rites.
